Client Policies

These policies are in place to ensure a smooth, professional, and enjoyable experience for every client.

Booking & Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure all appointments.

Appointments are first come, first served and are not guaranteed until the deposit has been received and confirmed.

Deposits

  • Are applied toward your total service balance
  • Must be sent within the timeframe provided when booking
  • Are required for every appointment, including returning clients

Why deposits are required

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. When you book, I am turning away other clients for that time slot. Deposits protect my time, prevent last-minute cancellations, and ensure serious bookings only.

Failure to send your deposit in time may result in

  • Loss of your requested appointment slot
  • The time being offered to another client

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

I understand that life happens, but please respect my time and business.

48+ hours notice

You may reschedule one time only using your original deposit.

24–48 hours notice

Your deposit is forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

Less than 24 hours / Same-day cancellations

You will be responsible for 100% of the service total.

Important

  • Rescheduling multiple times is not allowed with the same deposit
  • Last-minute emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis (proof may be required)

No Call / No Show Policy

If you fail to show up to your appointment without communication:

  • You will be charged 100% of your service total
  • You will be blocked or refused future bookings

No call/no shows impact my business heavily and will not be tolerated.

No Refund Policy

All services are final sale.

Due to the time, products, and customization involved, I do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

However, client satisfaction is important. If you are unhappy:

  • You must notify me within 24 hours
  • Adjustments may be offered at my discretion
  • No corrections will be made after the 24-hour window

Please communicate clearly during your appointment to ensure you love your results.

Late Policy

Please arrive on time to your appointment.

  • 10–15 minutes late: $15 late fee
  • 15–20 minutes late: $25 late fee
  • 20+ minutes late: Appointment may be canceled, and your deposit forfeited

Being late affects all following clients and the quality of your service.

If you are running late, please communicate as soon as possible.

Travel Policy

Travel appointments are available for your convenience.

  • Travel fees start at $25+
  • Final price depends on distance, travel time, and location accessibility

Additional travel considerations

  • Parking fees must be covered by the client
  • Travel appointments may require a minimum service total
  • Early morning travel may include additional fees

Travel must be discussed and approved before booking.

Client Preparation Policy

To ensure the best possible results, clients must come prepared:

  • Hair must be clean, dry, and detangled
  • No heavy oils, grease, gel, or product buildup
  • No wet or damp hair unless previously discussed

If hair is not properly prepped

  • A prep fee may be added
  • Or the appointment may be canceled if it affects timing

Inspiration photos are encouraged, but results may vary based on hair type, length, density, and condition.

Right to Refuse Service

I reserve the right to refuse service at any time if:

  • Hair is severely damaged or unsuitable for the requested style
  • There is lice or unsanitary conditions
  • Client is disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate
  • The requested style may compromise hair integrity

If service is refused

Deposit will be forfeited.

Client Agreement & Business Protection

By booking with Styleddbyystephh, you agree to:

  • All policies listed above
  • Not dispute or charge back payments after services are rendered
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally

Any attempt to scam, dispute valid charges, or harass will result in

  • Immediate refusal of future services
  • Possible legal action if necessary

Add-Ons & Additional Fees

Available add-ons:

  • Early appointment (before 8 AM): $50
  • Clip-in extensions install + styling: $50
  • Touch-up kits: $30
  • Lashes: $10
  • Extension purchases: Price discussed during consultation

Please request add-ons at the time of booking to ensure enough time is scheduled.
